I just found it and wanted to share.
ANTaR, Indigenous rights group, claims that they merely want to get a share of the Commonwealth Games spotlight as they present to the rest of the population their cause, not because that they’re against the Games.

Ian Thorpe hasn’t been beaten in the 400m freestyle for the past two Commonwealth Games, and even in the Sydney and Athens Olympics. He was forced to withdraw from the Games due to illness, Tuesday of last week.
