Heavy thunderstorms in Beijing on Thursday have delayed several events, including the softball games, the tennis quarterfinals, and the rowing and kayaking events.As Beijing was getting pounded by heavy winds and rain, the sailing events, located in the Chinese coastal city of Qingdao, were canceled due to lack of wind.
