The Russian pair of Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Ermakova successfully defended their 2004 Olympic Gold Medal on Wednesday. The pair received all perfect 10s in technical merit.
Earning the Silver Medal were Gemma Mengual and Andrea Fuentes of Spain. Saho Harada and Emiko Suzuki of Japan were awarded the Bronze Medal.
