North Korean athlete, Jong Su Kim (shown above) was stripped of his two medals and his Olympic privledges today after testing positive for propranolol on August 9 and 12, the IOC announced. Abhinav Bindra, 24, bested the defending Olympic champion, Zhu Qinan of China, to win the Gold Medal in the men’s 10m air rifle competition. It is the first ever individual Gold Medal for India.
