The US women’s basketball team got off to a strong start on Saturday by defeating the Czech team 97 to 57. Diana Taursi led the scoring with 17 point, followed by Sylvia Fowles with 16 points. Eva Viteckova was the high-scorer for the Czech team with 12 points.
