Tyson Gay Fails to Qualify
Wow! The much-heralded and one of the favorites to win the men’s 100m event, Tyson Gay failed to qualify for the event in Saturday’s semi-final race. Gay finished fifth in his race, where only the top Four times advance. Gay told NBC after the race that he had no excuses and his leg felt 100 percent.
Among those qualifying for the 100m are Jamaica’s Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell as well as Walter Dix and Darris Patton of the United States. The final will be run Sunday morning (Saturday night in North America).

He was so nice after the event in his interview. What a great guy! Yes, I am watching sports, don’t have a heart attack.
