Perdita Felicien Pulling Out of Olympics

Image details: Womens 100m Hurdles Finals served by picapp.com
Canadian track star, Perdita Felicien, has reportedly given up her efforts to make it to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The hurdler had been fighting to recovery from a stress fracture in her left foot but in the time since it happened this past February, she has failed to compete in a single race.
The 27-year-old is expected to officially announce her decision any minute now and I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for her. She did make it to the last Olympics in Athens but her disastrous fall prevented her from completing the race (and took out a fellow athlete in the process).

I think she is making a mistake.
I would like to see her cross the finish line.
Even if its in last place.
They would give her a 5 minute standing ovation.
Dont quit now.

I know. After what happened at the last Olympics, it would be great if she could make some sort of appearance.
