Nelson Joins New Zealand’s Olympic Team

Ryan Nelson has joined New Zealand’s Olympic soccer team. He was released to play by English Premiere League club’s Blackburn Rovers (he is their captain). The only catch is that he can’t play in all of the games - he’ll participate in the first two matches but will have to miss the final group gams since he must return to England as the Rovers get ready for their season opener against Everton.
Could you agree to just play two Olympic games? I know he has an obligation to Blackburn but, surely, they could have let him play just one more game.
