Misty May-Treanor to Compete on Dancing with the Stars
Misty May-Treanor (pictured above), half of the US Gold Medal beach volleyball team, will be part of the next group of “Dancing with the Stars” contestants, ABC announced this morning. She will be joined by 2000 Gold Medalist (in the 100m and 4×100m), Maurice Greene.
Olympians have traditionally done very well on the show. Speed skater, Apolo Anton Ohno won the contest in the fourth season and figure skater, Kristi Yamaguchi won the sixth season.
The seventh season of “Dancing with the Stars” will begin on September 22.
