Michael Phelps Wins First Beijing Gold with World Record Time
In what promised to be the first of many medals, Michael Phelps won Gold Sunday morning in the 400m individual medley with a world record time of 4:03.84. He was followed by Lazlo Cseh of Hungary for the Silver Medal and Ryan Lochte of the United States for the Bronze Medal.
This is the ninth career Olympic medal for Phelps and the seventh Gold Medal.

i have been watching closely michael’s game in the beijing olympics & his performance is really superb.he’s really a proud of U.S. go for gold Michael!
