Meet the US Olympic Shot Put Team
The US Olympic shot put team was chosen today at the US Track and Field Qualifying Meet in Eugene, Oregon. The top three finishers are heading to Beijing and they are familiar names to shot put fans: Reese Hoffa, Christian Cantwell, and Adam Nelson.
Hoffa (pictured above) is the reigning World Champion. Cantwell is the 2006 World Champion, and Nelson won the silver medal at both the Sydney (2000) and the Athens (2004) games.
