Matt Mitcham on Winning the Platform Diving Gold
With his mum and his partner by his side, openly-gay men’s 10m platform diving champion, Matt Mitcham from Australia discusses his surprising come-from-behind victory over the Chinese on Saturday. Was Mitcham’s story edited by the NBC censors as some have accused or was there just too much going on at the end of the Games to give much air time to the diver. I don’t know, but he is a likeable and talented Olympian. Take a look:
