BMX–bicycle motorcross–is making its debut at the Olympic Games in Beijing and the United States is sending one of its best to compete. Kyle Bennett clinched his place on the Olympic team by making the finals in the World Cup competition in Denmark this past Saturday. The 28-year-old Texas native is a 3-time UCI (Union Cycliste International) World Cup title holder.
The United States will be sending a three-man BMX team to Beijing. The other two will be selected at the June 14 qualifying event.
