Jensen Sets American Record in 400m Freestyle

Larsen Jensen set a new American record at the Olympic Qualifying Swimming Trials in Omaha, Nebraska Sunday night with a time of 3:43.53. Jensen won a Silver Medal in Athens in the 1500m Freestyle and finished fourth in the 400m. Finishing just behind Jensen in yesterday’s race was former record holder, Peter Vanderkaay, a Gold Medalist in the 4×200m relay in Athens. Both men will compete in the 400m Freestyle event in Beijing.
