Eller Wins Double Trap Shoot
Three-time Olympian, Walton “Glenn” Eller of the United States earned the Gold Medal on Tuesday in the double trap shoot event by hitting 45 of 50 targets in the final round, a new Olympic record. Eller, a Texas native, finished 15th in the Sydney Games and 17th in the Athens Games.
The Silver Medal was awarded to Francisco D’Aniello of Italy and the Bronze Medal went to Hu Binyuan on China.
