China Takes another Diving Gold
China continued their diving dominance at the Water Cube yesterday in the men’s 3m springboard competition. China’s He Chong earned the Gold Medal, besting the field by 36.25 points. Canada’s Alexandre Despatie took the Silver Medal and Qin Kai of China earned the Bronze. Russia’s Dmitry Sautin, 34, competing in his fifth Olympics finished fourth and American Troy Dumais finished sixth.
He’s is the sixth diving Gold Medal for China in these Olympic Games.
