Canada’s Olympic Basketball Team Ousted

There will be no Team Canada at the men’s basketball events at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I’m thoroughly shocked and disappointed that after a 83-62 loss to Croatia at the FIBA Olympic qualifying tournament in Athens, it is now impossible for the Canadian men’s team to compete in Beijing.

the problem with canadian atheletes is their government does not sponser them. Rather than put money into the pride of the country they squander it on other people and countries. When oh when will they learn.
