British Foreign Secretary is All for Beijing 2008
With all the of the controversy surrounding the Beijing Olympics, here’s a refreshingly pro-Chinese stance:
David Miliband has insisted that there should not be a boycott of this summer’s Olympics in Beijing.
The Foreign Secretary has travelled to the Chinese capital to strengthen ties between Britain and its fellow United Nations Security Council member and close trading partner.
Speaking about the Olympics, Mr Miliband said: “I don’t think a boycott is a good idea, I think countries should be fully competing.”
I can see where Mr. Miliband is coming from: no politics, just sport. But I also imagine that he placed himself in a dangerous position, one of obvious appeasement of the Chinese government. At least, that’s how some people will automatically see it.

I think the British Foreign Minister is a sensible person. We only heared what the western media told us there are killing by the Chinese police, but we did not see a single photos to support those news, but opposite, only saw some faked videos which happened outside of China. Now adays, we know how much lies could be told by our own media and those activitists
