XXIV South East Asian Games
The XXIV South East Asian Games will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from December 6 to December 16, 2007. This will be the sixth time that the country will host the SEA Games. Other years that Thailand played host were 1959, 1967, 1975, 1985 and 1995 SEA Games.
Singapore was supposedly the host for this year’s SEA Games, however, by 2004 they gave up the privilege since one of the venues that was supposed to have been used for the Games was still under construction.
South East Asian Games is a biannual multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of Southeast Asia. The first SEA Games was held in the year 1959.
