When did women first take part in the Olympic Games?

by Sasha Manuel on February 27th, 2007

Answer: Paris 1900

Cool year for the Olympics me thinks.

Why?

Remember when I asked this question — Who’s the Current Olympic Champion in Cricket?

It happened during that Olympic Games, too! Filled with firsts, eh? And not to mention quaint trivia. Hehehe.

I recommend you read this: Evolution of Women and Sport
