Games Talk Part 3
I love drinking a cup of coffee on a cold day. I enjoy it much more if I get to hang around a semi-crowded place, filled with people too busy with their own lives that they fail to notice someone like me scribbling away stuff about them. Uh, of course, I’m kidding. About the scribbling part. I just observe, man, and everything else is attributed to a good memory and fibbing. Hahaha.
I’ll leave it up to you to decide.
- Girl 1: Are the medals plastic?
Boy 1: I dunno really but I reckon there’s only a part of gold in them and they call it a gold medal. How lousy can they go? All that training, giving up a bloody hell of a lot and don’t even get a fair dinkim gold medal. It’s a fast. I could pan more than $19 worth of gold in 4 years or 2 years if you include the Olympics. Bring on real gold medals.
Girl 2: Real gold? Ooooh. I should be in them then!
Girl 1: How come?
Boy 2: So she can get her gold-digger hands on the gold, of course!Girl 2 smacks Boy 2 on the head but laughed anyway.
Boy 2: Makes you wonder who bloody pays for the medals. The Victorian taxpayer or the Australian taxpayer?
Girl 2: Good question
Boy 1: I’d be upset if I find out that my hard-earned taxes were being used to give out medals!
I can only shake my head.
